I got Sigma's Mrs. Bunny Collection!

Image belongs to Sigma Beauty
"The Bunny Collection utilizes Sigmax HD fibers, which guarantees perfect makeup placement without product absorption into the bristles. This kit contains 12 brushes from our best-selling Essential Kit. The brushes come in an innovative and functional container that turns into two brush holders to keep you stylish, organized and vegan-friendly! If you prefer vegan brushes, the Sigma Beauty Bunny Collection is perfect for you!"  ~Sigma

For my birthday, all I wanted to get was some new brushes that were high quality and cute. I've heard loads of youtubers and bloggers raving about  the Sigma Beauty Bunny Collections, the newest to be added to the Sigma brush family.
The Bunny collections come two ways. One is in the Mr. Bunny set which is a classy black and silver, and the other is the Mrs. Bunny set, which is light blue with a pink ferrule. Nothing is wrong with the Mr. Bunny set, but I went ahead and picked Mrs. Bunny because... well, it's adorable!

This is my first video, it's me opening my package! I'm kind of a goober in it, sorry :P
And sorry about the sniffles!

I've never had high quality brushes, and this is my first purchase from Sigma. I'm really glad that I got these brushes! The brushes are very soft, well crafted, and made with very high quality synthetic bristles - plus orders over a certain amount receive a free product. I received a free Sigma E25 mini blending brush with mine. This collection comes with 12 brushes and they are supposed to be exactly like the natural brushes line, except for the whole synthetic part that is :)

Face Brushes
Aren't they pretty???

Sigmax Kabuki Duo
I also picked up the Synthetic Sigmax Duo which has the F82 and F84. They are such nice kabuki brushes, with dense bristles that are extra soft. They are made with a special type of bristle that is supposed to be perfect for depositing the product without absorbing it into the bristles. So glad I got these!!

I used them for the first time today and while they were very effective and nice, I had one brush that had a couple of scratchy fibers (the E55) but that was the only one that I had any issues with.  I used my kabuki brushes for my foundation and they work wonderfully! The Bunny brushes so far are incredible, with the one exception. I'm hoping that maybe it will shed the pokey hairs. But the fact that I paid a little more for the set, it shouldn't have even been an issue, however it still works beautifully and the other side of the brush doesn't poke me. Also, the free brush was very nice! Just as nice as one in the set :) I like when  "freebie" doesn't mean its lesser quality.

These brushes are a little on the pricey side ($109)  and I saved up for a while to get them. Also I got a little help from some family members, for my birthday. I got the additional brushes since I was getting the help, I figured to go big or go home, right?? Sigma also had a coupon code for 10% off of the total purchase, so I saved quite a bit! Plus a free gift? Heck yeah! I wish I had gotten the dry n' shape system, to keep the brushes in good shape, but I will get them next time! Not sure what else I would purchase, but the brushes are very nice! I might need to get doubles of some of my favorites. I do wish they had some of the Mrs. Bunny ones sold individually so that we could add to our collection and have them match, both handles and the synthetic bristles.

Oh! I just remembered, when I went to purchase the kit the first time, it was sold out and a representative had told me to email them and ask to be put on a list. Well, I received a response email saying that  I had indeed been put on a list to be notified when they were back in stock. Well, that email never came. I found out just because I had been waiting for a while and decided to check and saw that they were in stock after all. That part kind of sucked. Does the make me not want to order again? No, but it does take points away from the CS.

Overall: I'm 95% satisfied with my purchase! Everything except for the E55 were fantastic, and I will just use the other side of the brush that doesn't have that one pokey bristle in it because the brush works great! The shipping was fast, everything was packaged beautifully. Will I buy from them again? Yes!

The Sigma brushes are sold  online and ship worldwide! They notified me when they ship and also provided a tracking number so I could stalk check to see where they were :)

Simply Sweet Skin : Lip Honey Palooza

I have more swatches of my beloved lip honeys! I'm sure I am repeating myself over and over. but I will just say it again anyways. These are great lip glosses that leave your lips in better condition that they were before. They are conditioning and packed with lip loving ingredients!
These are swatches of the lip honeys currently in the store, all in once place, along with links to other posts with more swatches. Catina, the owner of Simply Sweet Skin , sent me samples of her lip honeys after  I reviewed several of them and asked that I do the lip swatches for her storefront. I was delighted and of course said yes! I am very happy to do so for her, and happy to promote a product that works so wonderfully for myself.

Once Bitten Lip Honey ~ This deep dark blood red Lip Honey is loaded with shimmer and red glitter! To top it off this Lip Honey has the slight taste of red velvet cake! This is a very nice blackened cherry gloss, with an almost coppery red shimmer!

Always the bridesmaid Lip Honey is a gorgeous salmon coral color with tons of sparkle and shimmer! Flavored with our standard flavoring of "Sweet Kisses" This is such a nice color! It has a less glossy finish than some of the others, which I really enjoy! Plus the color is perfect for summer and spring!

Twisted Candyfloss - Sweet and sticky just like your favorite bag of cotton candy! Purple, red, blue and pink come together perfectly to create Twisted Candyfloss Lip Honey! We then added tons of purple and pink glitter for that extra sparkle! Shiny, sparkly and glittery!.As an added bonus is has a slight taste of cotton candy! So I love, love, love this color! It has such a pretty shift in it, and the flavor is yummy! I love purple lip products, and this one is gorgeous!  Looks great sheer too.

Zombie Love Lip Honey ~ Zombies don't have to be all gore and guts. They can also come as sparkly glittery goodness!! Zombie Love is an iridescent green with yellow undertones and tones of lime green glitter!! Comes slightly flavored with sweet and tangy margarita! This is such a cool color, It's actually one that I remember mentioning to the owner back when she started releasing her lip honeys, I thought a green lip would be so cool! And she came through! The metallic sheen in this reflects everything! And the green mutes out the red in your lips so sometimes it just looks like a cool gradient effect with a green and nude.

Mystic Lip Honey - A beautiful aqua ocean blue filled with aqua/teal glitter! This lip honey DOES leave a medium blue hue to your lips as well as loads of shimmer and sparkle! Mystic also has the slight sweet taste of Gummy Bears! This gloss made me feel like I was a mermaid, it's very fun! You can definitely sheer it out for a more subtle look, but I think its worth it to see the looks on people's faces who aren't used to a gorgeous blue lip.

Mocha Cafe' - Dark, creamy, rich and stunning. Mocha Cafe' Lip Honey is a rich brown with a dark plum shift! And to top it off, it has a slight caramel coffee flavor! I have a harder time pulling off browns, I sheered it out in the first photo and I really loved the look that gave me! It left me with a gorgeous nude lip that was still a little satiny looking. The second photo it a normal application of it. Oh and the flavor is spectacular, if you can get anything in that scent, I recommend you do so!

Muah-genta Lip Honey is an amazing deep magenta with a yellow/gold shift! This Lip Honey has medium pigmentation and loads of sparkle and magenta glitter! Flavored with our standard flavoring of "Sweet Kisses"  This berry colored lip honey has a very pretty, but subtle sparkle! I love berry colors, and this one leans very far to the warm side.

Plain Jane ~ This may be a neutral color, but it still packs a sparkly punch! Plain Jane is a peachy pink gloss with a mauve shift with loads of shimmer! It is super Shimmery and can worn with anything anywhere! This is one of my go to glosses, I love it! It seems like its pale, but when you wear it, it comes off as a nice neutral pink with a slight purple tone that is extremely wearable!! Very flattering!

The pictures were taken at different times during the day, and I've been working on finding a lighting set up that works best for me, however that is still in the works. So there are some slight inconsistencies with lighting here.

While samples are provided free of charge, I still make purchases from the store and the samples really just make me want to go back for more, like my full size of Zombie love and Plain Jane! In short, she is not buying me off in product. I would not promote a product that I did not enjoy, like, or approve of. /end disclaimer.

GeekChic: Geeks VS Zombies

Image belongs to Geek Chic Cosmetics
Geek Chic Cosmetics has the best eyeshadow collections. This set that I purchased is called "Geeks VS Zombies." I got this because I am a little bit of a zombie fan. I love playing video games with zombies, watching zombie movies, and pretending I'm a zombie when I attack my friends. Nom. What better excuse for taking a bite out of your pal's arm (or their headball) than saying you are now the living dead???

Simply Sweet Skin : Lip Honey Transfusion!

You guys know by now that I am obsessed with Simply Sweet Skin's Lip Honey's. They are an incredibly nourishing lip gloss that have great coverage and leave your lips feeling amazing after you wear them. These are a few of the colors in the shop currently that are rocking my socks!

Transfusion  : This is a red gloss that has lots of red sparkle, and to me seems more like a jelly gloss. Jelly in the way that it isnt very opaque and is see through, like jelly! This gave my lips a nice strawberry red color, and I like it because since its "jelly" like, the red leaned pink. It reminds me of delicious strawberries which is perfect for spring/summer - plus if you're wanting to try a bright red lip but you don't want the opacity of a lipstick, this is perfect!

High Maintenance : A clear gloss that is jam packed with gold sparkles! You can put on just a little for a subtle glitter, or put a nice coat of it on for a really glitzy look, that's not overwhelming. I have been wearing this gloss a lot since I received it, and it smells JUST like raw honey. I am head over heels for this gloss and use it ALL the time!! I'm convinced that anyone can wear this gloss :)

Birthday Suit : This lip gloss has a metallic foil to it that is very cool! The color is a nude to light brown which is flattering to my skin tone, but it would look amazing on darker skin tones

If you haven't checked them out yet, what are you waiting for?? Pick up some samples if you aren't sure! And try a few other things too, like the whipped soap. I adore that soap and plan to  post a review as soon as my next huge package arrives :)

Fyrinnae: Swatched!

Fyrinnae is one of the first indie makeup brands that I had the pleasure of buying from, and over the last couple of years I have accumulated  quite a few colors of eyeshadow from them! Mostly I purchase samples from them because I get to try out lots of different colors, plus they are pretty generous with the size of the sample.
Fyrinnae has two different types of eyeshadows in their store, the regular ones and the "Arcane" ones. The Arcane shadows cost a little more because they "are specialized colours with a highlight that changes hue depending on how the light hits it (closer to or further from a light)" or otherwise known as duochromes. The samples of the Arcane shadows are a little bit smaller than normal due to the price of the ingredients, so instead of costing more you just get less. All of their colors are complex and "layered", so that there is a lot of work that goes into them. There's really not many that compare to them!
I used Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy as a sticky base to keep the glitter and shadows in place on my lids, the Pixie Epoxy also gives the shadows a "foiled" look, so that it looks wet and more sparkly. I used it as a base for the swatches, but for on eyelids I recommend using a primer under it so that your shadows don't crease. They shadows are so silky and smooth, I really love this brand! Plus, they don't use glitters - so if your eyes have an aversion to glittery shadows, try these! They are high in sparkle and shimmer, just without the added glitters.

They describe Are You My Mummy as "a vibrant, gleaming emerald green. Closer to light or at an angle this shade takes on a striking deep pink color, almost a maroon."  To me the pink/maroon wasnt really coming through as strictly pink or maroon, but more brown. I guess that's just what you get when you mix pink with green through! Yay color theory! You can see what I mean around the edges of the swatch where the PE didnt grab onto the color much. Ps. Great Doctor Who reference! *squee*  (Arcane)

Fyrinnae describes Knickers in s Twist as: "This shade is a deep taupe with subtle bronze shimmer." Definitely a gorgeous taupe color! I really liked it, very pretty! Though I would say the shimmer is more on the silver side, or gunmetal even!

Fyrinnae describes Medieval at "Silky, rich metallic antique gold on black with accents of silver and gold sparkle"  Yes, I misspelled it in the picture, but the color itself is really something, it would look awesome with Steampunk! Such a pretty metallic!

Fyrinnae describes Mephisto as  " a deep royal blue with a vibrant metallic red sheen that's quite striking when the light hits it" I honestly did not see the blue or remember that it was supposed to be a blue, I saw it as a deep purple with a beautiful burgundy shift. Gorgeous though

Purgatory is described as an "Almost metallic red shines over a black base." Description is dead on, this one is so gorgeous! I apologize for the pictures being blurry, but those were the ones that captured the metallic shift the best!

They describe Steampunk as an "antiqued deep copper on black, with a touch of gold sparkle and hues of pink  Move it toward light or change the angle, and it becomes gold to chartreuse"  This is such a gorgeous color, would really make a fantastic gold smokey eye. I am SO head over heels for this color, its ridiculous how gorgeous it is. Just look at that shift!! (Arcane)

Fyrinnae describes Rapunzel had Extensions as a "Pale pink with a stunning brilliant light gold highlight" There's a reason this is one of the top sellers! It's gorgeous! My skin is so pale it doesn't show up to swell for swatches, but the gold really sparkles when you wear it - it's pretty breathtaking!

Fyrinnae described Conjuror as a "Soft burgundy-brick shade topped with shimmer that changes from aqua to bright crimson, depending on proximity to light".  I love the red with the bright aqua sparkle, it's a fun twist! (Arcane)

I really do love this shop, the only issue is catching when it's open. Lately that hasn't been as big an issue as it was a few months ago. They shut it down every so often, that way they stay caught up on orders. They have a rather larger posted Turn Around Time (TAT) but usually my order is shipped out within a week. Even if they have a slip up, they have -fantastic- customer service. I had a color missing from an order, sent them an email, and  they responded very quickly and sent the replacement out the next day! And they even threw in a free sample in addition to the replacement, no charge. Love!

They are great colors and great products! Check out their shop! They don't run a Facebook page, but they do keep customers updated via blog.
